As a lifelong dancer, I have always enjoyed ballet, jazz and modern. I was fortunate to be able to attend magnet public schools in Jacksonville, FL. During my years at several arts institutions I was able to train with world renowned choreographers. After receiving my bachelors in Business Administration from Bethune-Cookman University in 2014, I began teaching affordable dance classes in a Daytona Beach Community Center. After growing enough to afford our very own place and finally hiring my first employee (Mrs. Bree) we were able to branch out to teach other styles. In 2019, after giving birth to my first child and earning my MBA in Sports Management from St. Leo University, COVID hit and we almost lost the studio. I thank God that we made it through that unfortunate ordeal! Now we have various dance program that expand several cities! God is good!

When Mrs. Bree was 5 years old, she attended the Nutcracker, fell in love with dance, and immediately began her first 8 years of training at Amanda’s Dance Center. She was introduced to Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Acrobatics. From there, she transitioned to the dance program at Mainland High School where she continued to fall more in love with Ballet and Jazz, while also beginning to explore Hip Hop and Modern. While still in high school, Mrs. Bree started working on her AA Degree at Daytona State College, where she not only attended additional dance classes, but performed with their dance company on multiple occasions. After graduating college in 2015, Mrs. Bree began teaching at Royal Pointe Dance Academy, while also attending classes at Freed Performing Arts. During the 5 years that she was there, she continued to study Ballet, Tap, Hip Hop, Modern and Jazz. When she is not at the studio, she enjoys spending time with her husband and her two daughters, crocheting, and attending Church.

I was born and raised in Houston, TX, so naturally, Beyoncé was a BIG inspiration to me. Her talent was phenomenal in my eyes, and I wanted to become someone as inspiring as she was. Her dancing, her singing, her performance and tenacity were all skills I aimed to require… so I did. In elementary, I was offered a chance to join the dance team a part of the school I attended. I was learning Japanese at the time, so I was in a Japanese-inspired ballet dance class where we had frequent rehearsals and practices. I continued my classes at a performing arts middle school where I was able to expand my knowledge to modern and jazz. In high school, I joined my school’s drill team. We were busy all year round with field and competition performances. I also joined my school’s Dance Theater team and a studio team outside of school where I partook in Hip Hop classes and competitions as well. I then moved to Florida, and if I’m being honest, it was not for my studies. It was to join the 14 Karat Gold dance team at Bethune-Cookman. I did not make it my first year but was blessed to make the team only a year after. Pursuing dance over a career was not supported by most around me, but I knew what I loved and what was right for me at that moment. And now I am the Hip Hop and Majorette constructor at Royal Pointe Dance Academy in Daytona Beach. I want to end this all with saying dance is, and never really was, a “real” career or goal to pursue to most. Yes, it’s art, and art is entertaining and a way of life but not often understood. The ones who do understand the complexity of art in any form has a talent that’s hard to come by. Pursue it. Love it. And embrace it. Although art may be immortal, the chance to become art itself through dance isn’t. So I urge that you put your all into it and allow yourself to grow in all aspects of its knowledge.

Mrs. Arianna has been in dance since she was three years old. She has been in love with dance since then. She has danced ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop, modern, intro to choreography, a little bit of musical theater, and was on pointe for four years. When she wanted a little break she went and did a year of gymnastics at Fleming Island Gymnastics. She also had done workshops and conventions with some famous dancers. She has danced at Walt Disney Springs and has danced for the Harlem Globetrotters for a few years. She has also danced competitively for her high school dance team (Oakleaf Knightmoves) at Oakleaf High School. She has also danced at the Clay County Fall Festival for many years. Mrs. Arianna has just recently got her AA degree from St. John’s River State College. In her free time she is working her other job, spending time with family, or binge her favorite shows.
